Please Support Our Site

Please support our site and help keep our tribute alive.  We don't make any money from this site.  All donations received, as well as all proceeds earned from the sale of merchandise and ads, go to two places.  The first is to pay for the monthly costs of running the site and the second is to our AZWL Benevolent Fund.

The fund helps those Arizona Wrestling Legends in time of need.  In the past, our main use for the funds has been to provide travel assistance (such as hotel rooms) to our legends traveling to our annual reunion from out of state.

Thank you for your generousity.  We sincerely appreciate your support.

Mike Contreras isn't flashy, but he sure is good at what he does. This popular grappler has caused many opponents to mis-judge him by his quiet manner and no-frills attitude. It doesn't take long for Mike to show them the error of their ways as he twists their bodies into positions for which the human form was never designed.

Always popular with the fans, Mike is well known for giving 100% everytime he steps into a wrestling ring. He may not always be the "star of the show," but he was usually responsible for one of the better matches on the card.

Mike last appeared in Phoenix rings for Impact Zone Wrestling in 2004. When we caught up with Mike to ask him what he was up to these days and what his hobbies are, he replied, "Who has time for hobbies.  I'm working hard to get back into wrestling." It looks like a whole new generation of wrestling fans may have the pleasure of seeing Mike Contreras rule the wrestling ring.
